What Every Government School Child Deserves

What Every Government School Child Deserves

A safe roof isn’t a luxury. A functioning toilet isn’t a luxury. A fan in extreme heat isn’t a luxury. These are the basics every child deserves. ❤️ Through The Happy School Project, founder Maitreyi Jichkar is working to improve government schools by repairing roofs and classrooms, upgrading toilets and drinking water, improving electricity, furniture and ventilation, and creating better learning spaces through libraries and digital infrastructure.

But this work is about more than fixing buildings. It’s about restoring a teacher’s pride in their school, changing what parents believe a government school can offer, and ensuring that children—regardless of their background—grow up believing their dreams are worth investing in.

Because better learning begins with a better place to learn. 🌱 Would you want to see more government schools across India receive this kind of support?
