The union of Aditya Virwani and Agnes Brunner was a multi-day celebration that effortlessly blended Indian tradition and European elegance. Aditya is a Director at Embassy Group, one of India’s leading real estate and hospitality companies founded by his father, Jitu Virwani. Planned and produced by WeddingSutra Favorite – Next Level Experiences, with the Ganesh Puja and Haldi designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – AARA Design & Decor, every celebration unfolded as a distinct experience connected by a deeply personal narrative inspired by the couple’s love for travel, music and nature.
Speaking about the vision, Carun Carumbiah of Next Level Experiences shares, “The brief was never to create a conventional luxury wedding. Every celebration had to feel like its own world while remaining connected through one cohesive story. We wanted guests to experience India through a contemporary lens, with every detail feeling intentional, immersive and deeply personal.”
The celebrations began well before guests arrived at the venue. Personalised car playlists, fragrant rajnigandha garlands, traditional welcomes and thoughtfully curated in-room experiences set the tone for the festivities. Agnes also played a personal role in the welcome hampers, selecting recycled fabric for the monogrammed bags, while family favourite snacks sourced from Bangkok added a meaningful touch.
The Ganesh Puja embraced a calm and understated aesthetic, creating a setting that honoured the ritual with natural textures, fresh florals and traditional accents. The intimate design allowed the ceremony to remain the focus while setting the tone for the celebrations ahead.
The Haldi drew inspiration from earthy textures and handcrafted details. Handwoven bags made by women artisans, dried rose petals, silver incense holders and fresh chandan ladoos flown in from Delhi added warmth and authenticity to the celebration. The décor felt rooted in tradition while reflecting the couple’s preference for thoughtful, contemporary design.
The Mehndi took on the character of an Indian Keepsake Market where guests were invited to engage with Indian craftsmanship rather than simply receive favours. Storefront-inspired kiosks offered handcrafted keepsakes, while a live scent blending experience allowed guests to create personalised candles to take home. References to the couple’s proposal among the silverback gorillas in Rwanda appeared as playful motifs throughout the celebration, weaving their story into the design. For many international guests attending an Indian wedding for the first time, the experience offered a meaningful introduction to Indian culture.
Set beside the lake at the Virwani family farmhouse, the wedding ceremony balanced natural beauty with refined design. A bamboo mandap adorned with cascading terracotta and blush florals blended seamlessly into the landscape, while thoughtfully designed ceremony booklets helped international guests understand the significance of each ritual. The bride’s entrance beneath a floral canopy accompanied by choreographed fireworks created one of the day’s most memorable moments. As the pheras concluded, freshly prepared pista ladoos were served straight from a live station, ensuring every guest shared in a sweet that had been made especially for the occasion.
The reception unfolded beneath a custom-built glasshouse where transparent architecture framed the night sky. Cascading florals, mirrored accents and thousands of suspended lights transformed the space into an elegant setting for an evening of heartfelt speeches, interactive moments and world-class entertainment. The seamless flow of performances reflected the planners’ meticulous attention to detail while maintaining the intimate atmosphere the couple had envisioned.
Reflecting on the celebrations, Carun adds, “The biggest achievement was making a wedding of this scale feel personal. Whether it was the Rwanda-inspired storytelling, the curated cultural experiences for international guests or the festival finale, every decision came back to the couple’s journey and how they wanted people to feel.”
The celebrations concluded with the A&A Festival, an immersive music and art experience created as the wedding’s grand finale. Built over twelve days, it featured three themed worlds, large-scale art installations, illuminated sculptures and live performances that transformed the evening into an experience rather than a conventional after-party. Bringing together storytelling, hospitality and thoughtful design, the celebration reflected the couple’s vision of a wedding that felt deeply personal while embracing a truly global spirit.
