The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has introduced a temporary grace period for individuals affected by recent travel disruptions.
Eligible residents can regularise their visa status without paying fines until July 9, 2026. Those leaving the UAE during this period can also depart without completing additional procedures.
2. Dubai Summer Surprises Returns
One of Dubai’s biggest annual shopping and entertainment festivals is back.
Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026 runs from July 2 to August 30, bringing shopping deals, family attractions, concerts, dining promotions, and citywide entertainment throughout the summer.
Residents can also expect the return of popular events, including Beat The Heat DXB and special restaurant offers.
3. Last Chance for Emirates’ Free Hotel Offer
Travellers booking eligible Emirates flights still have a limited time to enjoy a complimentary hotel stay in Dubai.
Customers who book qualifying inbound flights before July 12 can receive a free stay at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, depending on their travel class.
The offer applies to selected Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class bookings.
4. Summer School Holidays Begin

Schools across Dubai officially begin their summer break in early July.
