Talking about it, Emraan Hashmi said, “I had a film Awarapan released in Pakistan. We went to Lahore for the release of the film and I got an overwhelming reception. It was heartening to see such a fan following there. I was with Bhatt Sahab; it was a warm welcome which surprised me, I mean fantastic hospitality. I was amazed.” In response to the question, “During your film Jannat, there was a stampede or a chaotic situation, is that true?” he said, “Yes, there is a huge rage for Hindi films there.
