Will Chery Launch Tiggo V in Pakistan?

Chery has unveiled the Tiggo V at Auto China 2026, introducing a new multi-purpose SUV built around flexibility and modular design.

The Tiggo V is the production version of the T1TP concept showcased in 2025 and carries forward its core idea of a transformable vehicle. It is offered as a seven-seater in its standard form but can be reconfigured into multiple layouts, including cargo-focused and pick-up style configurations, making it one of the most versatile models in the Tiggo lineup.

Built on a unibody platform, the vehicle features a configurable interior with adjustable partitions and a layout that allows cargo space to extend into the cabin. The design enables users to switch between passenger and utility use, reflecting Chery’s focus on multi-purpose family mobility.

Limited technical details have been revealed, but Chery confirmed the Tiggo V will be offered in both plug-in hybrid and conventional petrol variants. The plug-in hybrid version is expected to deliver fuel consumption of around 6.0 litres per 100 km, while the petrol variant is rated at approximately 7.84 litres per 100 km.

The SUV offers a ground clearance of 220 mm and is designed for varied driving conditions, with water wading capacity of up to 700 mm for the hybrid version and 650 mm for the petrol model, along with the ability to handle gradients of up to 30 percent.

Launch in Pakistan

Chery has recently strengthened its presence in Pakistan with the introduction of new models in the SUV segment through local partnerships, as competition in the crossover market continues to grow.

A source told ProPakistani that the Tiggo V could also be considered for launch in Pakistan in the future, although no official announcement has been made.
