Army veteran Timothy Duval Jr., 24, was fatally struck by a vehicle in Wellfleet in May 2025.
The Wellfleet Police Department and the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office are seeking the public’s help in relation to a 2025 homicide.
On May 25, 2025, Timothy Duval Jr., 24, of Tallahassee, Florida, was walking on Ocean View Drive in Wellfleet when he was fatally struck by a vehicle, police said. Duval was an Army veteran and a father to a then 3-year-old son, according to police.
He was on vacation with friends when he became separated from the group, police said at the time.
In a press release July 27, Wellfleet police and the DA’s office asked for anyone with information about Duval’s death to come forward.
“A dozen witnesses have been interviewed both by law enforcement investigators and the grand jury. Multiple vehicles have been examined and search warrants granted by the Court were executed,” officials said in the release.
