His family has been left devastated by the loss of “a much-loved son, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend”, according to a GoFundMe page set up to support them.
“At just 22 years old, his life was taken far too soon in a senseless act of knife violence in Gosford,” the fundraiser said.
“No family is ever prepared for a loss like this.”
The family is seeking help to cover funeral expenses and other unexpected costs following Robson’s sudden death.
“We are asking for the kindness and support of our community to help ease some of this burden, allowing us to focus on grieving and celebrating the life of a young man who meant so much to so many,” the page said.
Meanwhile, police are urging a 15-year-old boy to come forward as investigations continue.
Superintendent Darryl Jobson said police believe the pair were known to each other.
The boy is described as being about 175cm tall of medium build with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a vest over a shirt and long pants.
Police believe Robson’s injuries were inflicted with a knife with a 15cm blade.
Jobson said there was no ongoing threat to the broader community.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
