After a year of rest and regeneration for Worthy Farm, Glastonbury Festival is officially gearing up for its 2027 return, with tickets set to go on sale this October.
As one of the biggest music and arts festivals in the world, speculation around who will take to the Pyramid Stage is already gathering pace. Glastonbury has delivered some of music’s most memorable headline performances over the years, and naturally, attention has now turned to who might join that lineage in 2027. The biggest clue so far comes from festival organiser Emily Eavis, who confirmed during a BBC Radio interview in August that all three 2027 headliners have already been booked. Eavis also put one persistent rumour to rest, confirming that Madonna – despite mounting speculation – will not be among them.
So, who is heading to Worthy Farm? Below, we’ve gathered every clue, hint and rumour pointing towards the artists who could headline Glastonbury in 2027.
Harry Styles
One of the biggest and most obvious headliners we’re predicting is Styles. It makes complete sense: he has never performed at Glastonbury before, and with his new album out rumours of a Euro 2027 tour, it’s never been more likely. And not only do we want him there, Eavis has stated in an interview with The Sun in 2025 that he is their dream headliner: “Harry would be the perfect Glastonbury headliner and Emily has long wanted him on stage at Worthy Farm, but the dates have never quite worked out.” We have a whole article dedicated to how confident we are that Styles will headline Glastonbury 2027.
Radiohead
It would be an incredible return, having performed at the festival four times in the past, most recently in 2017. Will they make it five a decade later? It would also mark 30 years since their first headlining performance at the festival, which is a major milestone. The band is also touring Australian and Japan up until early June 2027, which means they’re actively touring already prior to festival seen in Europe.
Stevie Nicks
The queen of all queens, Stevie Nicks. While she isn’t releasing music or touring (as far as we know in 2027) she has made some appearances at music festivals like Daisy Chain Fields this year, so it’s not completely off the table. And, having never performed at Glastonbury before, perhaps Mr Styles can lure her into it, and maybe they’ll even treat us to a duet.
Miley Cyrus
It’s a fitting time for Miley Cyrus to headline – or better known as Miley now as she rebrands ahead of her 10th studio album. Though she did perform in 2019, a headline act could just be what we need in 2027. It all lines up very nicely as she drops the album in September 2026, so we can only assume a tour would be in the mix for 2027.
Tame Impala
Though Kevin Parker performed and headlined at the festival in 2019, he’s no stranger to doubling down. With a tour coming to Europe in 2027, he’s seemingly free on next years dates – specifically between the Poland and Germany show. Perhaps he will pop on back over to the UK to headline?
Sam Fender
Sam Fender has already proven his pull with the festival’s audience, having performed at Glastonbury in 2022 to an incredibly well-received set. His name sat just below the headliners on the lineup, signalling his status as one of the UK’s biggest contemporary acts. Still rising internationally, Fender has since completed a major stadium tour in 2026 – further proof that he has the scale and audience to step into a headline slot.
When does the 2027 Glastonbury Festival lineup drop?
The festival is confirmed to run from 23 to 27 June 2027, with the tickets released in October 2026. With that in mind, we can likely expect the lineup to drop around March 2027.
