Pakistan Super League (PSL) champions Lahore Qalandars will compete in the 2026 Global Super League, with the tournament set to run from July 23 to August 1 at the Guyana National Stadium.
The three-time PSL champions have confirmed their return to the competition after also featuring in its first edition.
Their participation will see one of Pakistan’s biggest T20 franchises return to the global stage in a tournament that brings together leading teams from different leagues.
The event is expected to feature top franchise sides from around the world, with Lahore Qalandars aiming to make another strong impression in overseas competition.
The franchise has built a strong profile in T20 cricket over the years through its success on the field and its popularity off it. That reputation has helped it emerge as one of the most recognizable teams to come out of the PSL.
Team owner Sameen Rana said the side was pleased to return to the tournament and represent Pakistan once again in an international franchise event.
He added that the competition offers a strong platform to showcase the team’s talent, culture, and ambition to a wider audience, while also creating space for player development prospects to make their mark.
Global Super League chairman Clive Lloyd welcomed Lahore Qalandars back to the tournament, saying their presence will raise both the standard and profile of the event.
The squad for the tournament will be announced later.
At the moment, Lahore Qalandars are competing in PSL 11 as they look to regain their title and become the first time to win four PSL titles.
