A dress made from more than 10 kilograms of gold and valued at Dh5 million is drawing crowds at the 57th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show in Sharjah.
Created by Al Romaizan Gold & Jewellery, the masterpiece has officially been recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s most expensive gold dress. The record-breaking piece is making its first public appearance at Expo Centre Sharjah and has quickly become one of the exhibition’s biggest attractions.
The Gold Dress Everyone Wants to See
Manufactured in the UAE using 21-karat gold, the dress combines luxury craftsmanship with record-breaking status.
Visitors attending the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show are gathering around the display to see the Guinness-certified creation up close, making it one of the most photographed exhibits at this year’s event.
Alongside the gold dress, Al Romaizan is also showcasing:
- More than 500 new diamond designs
- Pieces from its record-breaking Sheikha Hind collection
- New jewellery collections launched exclusively for the exhibition
There Is More Than Just the Dress
The show features hundreds of luxury brands and exclusive collections from across the region.
Highlights include:
- Salem Al-Shueibi Jewellery’s new Aura Mosa collection, created with Emirati designer Shamma Al Hallami
- Arabian Gold & Diamond’s Guinness World Record creations, including the Union Frame
- Jawhara Jewellery’s latest luxury jewellery collections
Al Romaizan Has Done This Before
This is not the first time Al Romaizan has brought an attention-grabbing creation to the exhibition.
The brand previously unveiled a gold bicycle valued at Dh1.5 million, helping cement its reputation for creating some of the region’s most ambitious jewellery pieces.
The Dh5 million gold dress is now its most valuable creation to date.
Why Everyone Is Talking About It
The Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show is one of the largest jewellery exhibitions in the region and continues to attract international brands, designers, collectors and investors.
The previous edition welcomed more than 91,000 visitors, and organisers expect strong attendance again this year as visitors flock to see the world’s most expensive gold dress in person.
The Bottom Line
You do not see a Guinness World Record-winning gold dress every day.
Whether you are into jewellery, luxury fashion or simply want to see what Dh5 million worth of gold looks like, this 10kg masterpiece has become one of Sharjah’s most talked-about attractions right now.
