According to the National Emergencies Operation Centre, upper and central Punjab are expected to receive intermittent rainfall with gusty winds on April 18 and 19.

Major cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, are likely to experience thunderstorms during this period.

In southern Punjab, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly dry. Meanwhile, parts of Balochistan, including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, and Khuzdar, may receive rain and thunderstorms on April 18, 19, 22, and 23.

Coastal areas such as Gwadar could also witness strong winds and light rain.

In Sindh, including Karachi, dust storms and thunderstorms with rain are forecast for April 19 and 20, while temperatures are expected to remain above normal in several districts.

Regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir are also likely to experience rain and strong winds. Snowfall is expected in upper and mountainous areas, raising concerns about possible landslides.

Authorities have advised citizens to take precautionary measures, particularly in hilly regions where weather conditions could pose safety risks.
