One of Australian television’s most recognisable sets isn’t saying goodbye just yet, with the iconic Lassiters location granted a temporary reprieve before demolition.
TV City, which preserves and celebrates Australian television history through fan experiences and studio events, has secured the site for a further three months following the end of Neighbours to host a farewell celebration.
The event follows the conclusion of the long running soap after Amazon opted not to renew its revived run, with the final episodes airing on Network 10 and Prime Video in December 2025.

Dubbed Goodbye Lassiters!, the ticketed event will give fans one final opportunity to step onto the famous grounds before the bulldozers move in, including access to areas normally closed to the public.

Visitors will be able to explore the Lassiters set, take final photographs, meet former Neighbours cast members and enjoy live entertainment throughout the day.
Early bird registrations are now open ahead of the limited ticket release, with the farewell event scheduled for Saturday, 5 September. Ticket prices are yet to be announced.
