Fans have mixed reactions after Cleveland picks 2 WRs

In a vacuum, the Cleveland Browns’ drafting Denzel Boston was good value in the second round. However, with Andrew Berry taking a wide receiver in the first round, Browns fans have every right to wonder what the plan is for the franchise.

Boston has a chance to be a good player in Cleveland, which Browns fans can appreciate, but there are plenty of other holes the organization needs to fill than grabbing two wide receivers. It appears that Berry is adopting a best-player available strategy.

Browns fans on social media had some mixed reactions to the team’s decision to double down on wide receiver depth.

“Can’t believe I’m seeing people say this is a bad pick. The receiving room is the worst in football. A 6’4 guy with his skill set is a good play out of them. I like this.” X user @letitfly456 wrote.

“Liked this a lot better then KC at 24. I’d have loved to get Lemon at 20 by trading up with Dallas the getting Boston that would be amazing if you could have had Jeudy Boston and Lemon but Jeudy Boston and KC will be okay I guess,” @ace_freeman72 added.

“TERRIBLE PICK!! Brazzell was right there!!” @Dawg_Check11 furthered.

Whoever becomes the Browns’ starting quarterback this season will have tons of new weapons to make playing in Cleveland a bit more exciting. While there were plenty of holes to fill and it’s unclear how much this decision will lead to success, it’s hard to deny that this could make the Browns more fun to watch.
