Three homes have been targeted in suspected drive-by shootings overnight, with police investigating whether the incidents are linked.
Emergency services were first called to a house on Clarence St in Merrylands, Western Sydney, about 10.45pm on Friday, following reports shots had been fired.
A short time later, police were called to a second shooting just a block away on Lockwood St, following reports another home had been targeted.

About 11pm, officers were also called to a home on Monash St in Wentworthville, about an eight-minute drive away, following reports of a third shooting.

No injuries have been reported.
Police have been told an unknown vehicle was seen outside each home before occupants fired several rounds into the properties.
Detectives are now hoping to speak with the driver of a white Hyundai sedan seen leaving the Wentworthville home around the time of the shooting.
Crime scenes have been established at all three locations and investigations are underway.
Anyone with information, CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage is urged to come forward.
