A WhatsApp message changed the course of Gudiya’s life.
For Abhijeet, it meant leaving his village in Kerala and travelling to Bengaluru to learn new skills.
Both came into the Learning for Life programme with uncertainty about what work and independence could look like. Today, Gudiya has built a career in hospitality, while Abhijeet is working towards a future where he can support his family.
Their journeys show what can happen when skills, accessibility and opportunity come together.
Through the programme implemented by SCPwD, more than 600 persons with disabilities have been trained and certified for roles in hospitality and logistics.
