Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday released the results of the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations. Students can access their results by visiting the website, resultsbie.ap.gov.in. or through WhatsApp Mana Mitra services (9552300009).
More than 1.83 lakh students improved their performance, while nearly 1 lakh students who had failed in the regular examinations secured another chance to continue their higher education journey.
Mr. Lokesh said the government’s decision to provide improvement opportunities to both passed and failed Intermediate students yielded encouraging results.
In the first year examinations, 1,35,435 students, representing 59% of the 2,29,034 candidates who appeared for improvement, enhanced their performance. Additionally, 42,379 students, or 39% of the 1,09,003 failed candidates who reappeared, successfully passed and improved their results.
For second-year students, 48,149 candidates, accounting for 53% of the 91,303 students who appeared for improvement, scored better. Another 57,327 students, or 56% of the 1,02,018 failed candidates, passed the examinations.
Based on the combined results of the regular Intermediate Public Examinations and the supplementary examinations, the overall pass percentage reached 84% for first-year general students and 92% for second-year general students.
Congratulating all the successful candidates, the Minister praised their determination and hard work and wished them success as they move forward towards higher education and brighter opportunities.
