The celebrations began at midnight with a special message from the superstar. Since Mannat is currently undergoing renovation and the family has temporarily moved out, Shah Rukh did not appear on the balcony as he usually does. Instead, a large projection outside the residence displayed a handwritten note from the actor, along with visuals from his upcoming film King.
The note read, “Thank you all for your wishes and love. Sending mine right back to you all. Lots of love and a big hug.”
The display also featured visuals and dialogues from King, including “King Akela Kaafi Hai” and “Darr Nahi, Dehshat Hoon”. The first song from the film, ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, was also released at midnight, adding to the birthday celebrations.

Dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, the actor waved at fans, struck his signature arms-outstretched pose, saluted and blew kisses. His appearance was brief amid the ongoing renovation work and security arrangements, but it gave fans the glimpse they had been waiting for.
