Heavy deployments of the Rapid Action Force and Central Reserve Police Force equipped with riot gear and batons were seen marching near Block A, Palika Bazar, and Baba Kharak Singh Marg in the inner circle of Connaught Place. With protesters gathering and attempting to head towards Jantar Mantar, police barricaded key entry and exit points, turning the area into a fortress. Buses have also been positioned across the vicinity for detentions as authorities monitor groups gathering along Janpath and Minto Road.
