Kartik Aaryan recently suffered a knee injury while filming an action sequence for Kabir Khan’s upcoming sports drama. The actor underwent surgery at a Mumbai hospital and is currently recovering at home. While reports suggested that the injury could lead to a delay in the film’s shooting schedule, director Kabir Khan has dismissed the speculation and confirmed that there has been no change in the schedule.

Kartik’s team informed on Saturday that the actor had successfully undergone surgery following the injury. His spokesperson said in a statement, “Kartik Aaryan sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his film. His surgery was completed successfully, and he is now back home, resting and recovering. He will be back on set soon.”
The injury reportedly occurred during the final two days of filming, when the team was working on several key action sequences. Kartik was subsequently taken to Fortis Raheja Hospital in Mahim for medical attention. The actor is expected to return to work once he has recovered.
Amid the news of his injury, reports surfaced claiming that the film’s schedule could be postponed because of the unexpected setback. However, Kabir Khan has denied the reports and maintained that the production remains on track. Speaking to Hindustan Times, the filmmaker said, “All this is wrong news. There’s no change in our schedule, we are on track.”
Kabir further clarified that the filming had already been completed when the incident took place. He said, “Our shoot is already over.”
The upcoming sports drama is also significant for Kartik as it marks his debut as a producer under his own banner. With the shoot already wrapped, the actor can now focus on his recovery before returning to his professional commitments
