She lost her voice. But she never stopped teaching. ❤️ For over 30 years, she was a beloved teacher in Bandra. Then, at 55, Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) changed almost every part of her life—affecting her mobility, speech, and eventually her independence.
But she refused to let the disease take away her purpose. She continued teaching online, communicating through blinks and lip movements, writing poems, helping nurses learn English, and approaching every therapy with remarkable hope and determination. Even when the way she taught had to change, her desire to teach never did.
She passed away this year, but MSA never became her identity. 🌸 She left behind something far more powerful—a reminder that resilience isn’t always about defeating what happens to us, but about choosing how we continue to live through it. What is one lesson from her story that you’ll carry with you? Tell us in the comments.
