There were plenty of stars on the field Thursday at “Boston Stadium” in Foxborough, including goal scorers Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé, as France defeated Morocco 2-0 to advance to the World Cup semifinals.
But there were also some celebs in attendance to watch the highly anticipated clash. Here’s a rundown of some of the big names:
Noah Kahan
In the midst of his four-show run at Fenway Park, the Vermont singer-songwriter had a fortuitous off-day Thursday. What better way to spend it.
Shakira
Shakira, who performed at the World Cup’s opening match in Mexico City and is set to perform in the final’s halftime show — not to mention appearing at TD Garden Friday and Saturday — took in the action as well.
Antoine Griezmann
France’s Antoine Griezmann, who has 137 caps and 44 goals for his national team, was there. Griezmann is scheduled to return to Foxborough on Sept. 19, as his new MLS team, Orlando City SC, will face the Revolution.
Jaylen Brown and IShowSpeed
The now-former Celtic and the immensely popular online streamer, who has been at numerous World Cup matches, were in a suite together.
Brown even made some notable comments about his recent trade out of town.
“It’s a crazy business bro… don’t ever become a basketball player… there’s no loyalty. I got packed up. They packed me up”
