Welcome to the hotly anticipated Kowloon Tiki on the Beach.

Owner Bob Wong plans to unveil the new restaurant on Revere Beach (21 Revere Beach Blvd.) this week, with seating for 115 diners indoors and 60 more on the outdoor patio. The Globe got a sneak preview of the space, a sequel to the beloved Kowloon in Saugus.

“We’ll have a lot of fun. It will be an Instagram location,” Wong joked to us earlier this year. Some of Wong’s kitchen staff switched from the Saugus branch to the new location.

The Revere location is more intimate than the Saugus original, which has been in business since 1958 and can seat up to 1,200 people. About 20,000 customers flock to Kowloon every week to sip Polynesian cocktails alongside Chinese-American cuisine.

The food at Kowloon Tiki on the Beach is more tropical than its Saugus sibling, however: There’s a Tiki Hut menu, with tuna poke tacos, seared tuna bites with sweet soy and Sriracha, spam musubi, and a charred pineapple smash burger. There’s also a smattering of sushi, including California, shrimp tempura, and eel avocado rolls.

Of course, you’ll also find Kowloon classics, including garlicky, sticky Saugus wings, General Gau chicken, beef and broccoli, and lo mein. For dessert, there’s pineapple upside-down cake.

Visit Kowloon Tiki on the Beach starting next week from 11:30 a.m. until midnight on weekends, and until 11 p.m. during the week.
