The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup completed the third round of its third edition in Morocco, after two days of competition in Rabat.
The event was held on Saturday and Sunday at the National Institute for the Horse “Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan” in Dar Es Salam.
It brought together 179 horses from nearly 50 owners, with entries from Morocco and abroad.
The competition formed part of the UAE-backed series, which was set up to support Arabian horse owners, breeders and shows across several continents.
The Rabat round included yearling colts and fillies, two and three-year-old colts and fillies, mares and stallions.
Aya Shems, owned by Bouzoubaa Mohssine, won gold in the Yearling Fillies category. Asayel Shems took silver, while Hiba Azahraa, owned by Ait Rabai Redouane, claimed bronze.
In the Junior Fillies championship, Ilaf ME, owned by Mohammed Al Atwani, took gold. Siwar Bouznika, from Haras Royal De Bouznika, won silver. Eline ME, also owned by Mohammed Al Atwani, took bronze.
Al Atwani’s horses also won in the Senior Mares division, where Amira ME claimed gold. Layla Bouznika, of Haras Royal De Bouznika, took silver, while Dirwate Bouznika won bronze.
Issan Ghazal, owned by Mustapha Belfkih, won the Yearling Colts gold title. Taj Bouznika, from Haras Royal De Bouznika, took silver. Hazem ME, owned by Mohammed Al Atwani, claimed bronze.
Al Atwani had more success in the Junior Colts championship, where Yamine ME won gold and Labib ME took silver. Menara Wahid, owned by Karim Ben Lefkih, finished with bronze.
In the Senior Stallions category, Nihad Bouznika, representing Haras Royal De Bouznika, won gold. Wassem Al Assil, owned by Ghazlani Idriss, took silver, while Osman MB, owned by Mustapha Ben Lefkih, claimed bronze.
The event was attended by Al Asri Saeed Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Morocco, and Mohammed Al Harbi, Director-General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society.
Omar Skalli, Director-General of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse, Habib Merzak, Commissioner of the El Jadida Horse Show, and Idris Tarek, Secretary-General of the Royal Moroccan Association for Purebred Arabian Horses, also attended.
Australia hosted the opening round of the 2026 series from January 30 to 31. Bahrain staged the second round on April 25 and 26.
The fourth round will take place in the United States from September 16 to 19. China will host the fifth round on October 6 and 7, before Italy stages the sixth round on November 7 and 8.
The third edition is due to finish in Brazil on November 14.
