700+ Rescued in Chitrakoot Floods

The Mandakini rose to 135.2 metres, its highest level in 23 years. 🌊 As record floods hit Chitrakoot, IAS Officer and DM Pulkit Garg and his team quickly moved to warn vulnerable communities and evacuate affected villages.

When the floodwaters rose again, boats and helicopters were deployed, helping rescue more than 700 people. Relief supplies, food and drinking water were also delivered to families affected by the floods, while Pulkit Garg remained on the ground overseeing the rescue and relief efforts.

Because during a crisis, people don’t just need orders. They need someone who shows up, takes charge and stays until the work is done. 🇮🇳
