But to her little sister Advika, she is the safest person in the world.
When Riddhima was diagnosed with autism, people told her mother to keep her away from babies, even calling her “abnormal.”
But when Advika was born, Riddhima became a loving elder sister—gently holding her, worrying when she cries and waiting for her to come home.
The child society once misunderstood became her sister’s whole world.
Maybe it’s not Riddhima who needs to change. Maybe our definition of “normal” does.
