You Were Everywhere | Write Out Loud

You Were Everywhere | Write Out Loud

As your eyes grew narrower

Your skin took on

A phosphorescent glow

Slowly building in intensity

Shining through your clothes

Banishing every shadow

Yet impossible to turn away

You turned into a ball of burning light

Beams shooting out

The hospital window

Splashed across car park lines

Gently gilding

Gathered clouds

Then it was done

And you were gone

Or you were

Everywhere…
