First AI-driven trade ministry in the world
Once implemented, the platform will be embedded across all core functions of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, supporting the UAE’s ambition to become the world’s first fully AI-driven trade ministry.
By analysing millions of real-time data points from ports, shipping routes, customs records, international laws and trade agreements, the platform will deliver actionable intelligence to both public and private sector stakeholders.

Forecasting disruptions and identifying opportunities
The AI platform will enable users to anticipate potential trade disruptions, monitor global supply chain risks and identify emerging market opportunities. Businesses will gain clearer insights into regulatory requirements, market access rules and cross-border trade conditions across different jurisdictions.
AI-powered services for traders will include smart certificates of origin and advanced compliance tools, reducing friction and improving efficiency across international trade processes.
Strong support for policy and trade negotiations
For the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the platform will significantly enhance data analysis and forecasting capabilities, supporting evidence-based policymaking and strengthening the UAE’s position during international trade negotiations.
The initiative forms one of the eight strategic pillars of the UAE Global Centre of Trade programme, launched in November 2025 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The programme aims to reinforce the UAE’s role as a global gateway for goods and services, expand non-oil exports and open new markets for national businesses.

Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, said the agreement marks a key milestone in the ministry’s transformation agenda.
He noted that artificial intelligence has the potential to replace traditional, time-consuming trade processes with real-time analysis and predictive intelligence, accelerating merchandise flows, reducing disruptions and identifying high-potential opportunities across global markets.
“Mansoor Al Mansoori**, Vice Chairman of Presight, said the platform will strengthen the UAE’s leadership in global supply chains by enabling faster, more confident decision-making through real-time insights.
Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, described the partnership as a landmark moment for global trade, adding that the platform is expected to set a new international benchmark for AI-driven trade facilitation.
