Titan Manga has released an exclusive first look at the upcoming second volume of Ryoichiro Kezuka’s Record Journey manga series. Volume two will be released in bookstores, comic shops, and online retailers on August 11, 2026.
Titan Manga describe the main synopsis of the second volume as:
Record Journey Vol. 2 continues Ryoichiro Kezuka’s unforgettable exploration of the quiet magic found in vinyl, memory, and the everyday lives of people from all over the globe. Presented in English for the first time, this volume deepens the series’ tender, introspective storytelling with a new set of emotionally rich encounters.
In this volume, the stories expand far beyond the record shop nestled between Tokyo’s busy streets, all connected by music’s unexpected power to shape lives. A small store becomes an impromptu haven for a famous band passing through on tour; a clandestine pirate radio signal reaches someone living under quiet oppression; and the very voices behind that radio are forced to flee, discovering new lands, and new sounds, along the way. Each tale stands alone yet harmonizes with the others, creating a layered exploration of how music travels, transforms, and brings people together.
The drama manga series has been serialized in Kadokawa’s Aokishi magazine since April 2021. Three tankobon volumes have been released as of February 2025.

Titan Manga first licensed Record Journey in May 2025 and will release the first volume on May 26, 2026. The publisher describes the first volume as:
For the first time in English, experience Record Journey Vol. 1, a captivating collection of short stories by Ryoichiro Kezuka that explores the quiet, powerful intersections of music, memory, and everyday life.
At the heart of these stories is a young woman working at a small record store in Tokyo. Each story introduces a new visitor to the shop, each with a unique past, a specific record in mind, and an emotional thread waiting to be uncovered. As the needle drops, so do the walls between strangers, revealing bittersweet moments, long-lost connections, and the smooth healing of sound.
Pre-orders for the second volume are now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Forbidden Planet in the U.K. and Europe.
