That’s Life – What a Life
Esther Rantzen Dame and OBE
Campaigner for freedom and liberty
A passion for her fellow woman and man
Silverline and Childline help yes you can
That’s Life – What a Life
Some of us just come and go
She made her mark don’t you know
She had beauty fire and passion
With a glint in her eye after a fashion
That’s Life – What a Life
Today she died 86 years old
She was gentle strong and bold
A sassy lady a smile like the sun
But most of all humour and fun
That’s Life – What a Life
Each day that arrives is a gift
Heaven on earth gives you a lift
As the years flash by and you reflect
Give life a real shot its not over yet
That’s Life – What a Life
She died with dignity and a heart pure
Assisted dying a choice denied for sure
Humility she showed through the years
She leaves us smiling happy tears
That’s Life – What a Life
That’s Life – What a Life
She taught us to care
Laughter for all to share
A woman of substance rare
That’s Life – What a Life
