The Palm Dropzone sits at Dubai Harbour on Al Seyahi Street, and it is one of the most photographed skydiving locations in the world. It offers customers unrivalled views of Dubai’s iconic sights including Palm Jumeirah, World Islands, Ain Dubai, and Burj Al Arab Skydive Dubai from the moment you exit the aircraft.
Jumps happen from 13,000 feet at 193 km/h, and the freefall itself lasts approximately 60 seconds. The total experience, from check-in to landing, takes around three to four hours. For first-timers, a tandem jump with a certified instructor is mandatory. Skydive Dubai’s team of international champion instructors, experienced pilots and specialist operations crews work to the highest levels of professionalism in the pursuit of excellence in aerial sports.
There are a few requirements worth knowing. You must be 18 years old or older on the day of the jump. Skydive Dubai also has weight limitations. Women: 90.0 kg or less, BMI 27.5 or less. Men: 100 kg or less, BMI 30.0 or less.
Operating Hours and How to Book
The Palm Dropzone is open from 9am between Friday and Sunday while the Desert Campus is open from 8am between Wednesday and Sunday. The Desert Campus has long served as a training and events hub for the local and international skydiving community, hosting licensed jumpers, competitions and coaching programmes.
Walk-in spots are available at the Palm Dropzone on a first-come, first-served basis daily. There are a limited number of priority slots available each day. Each slot can be purchased for a last-minute priority fee of AED 700, added on top of the regular tandem price, and once purchased, you will be guaranteed the next available tandem slot on the day.
