Sewers overflowing, filth on roads: Kejriwal jabs BJP for mismanagement in Delhi

Former Delhi Chief Minister and the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, on Wednesday lashed out at the BJP-ruled Delhi government over the poor civic conditions and alleged mismanagement in the capital.

Sharing a post from Aam Aadmi Party’s official X handle, which showed a pile of garbage stacked behind the Ambedkar Nagar Hospital, Kejriwal wrote, “Should the country’s capital be in such a state? People come to Delhi from across the country and abroad. Just imagine, when they see the capital in such a condition, how much embarrassment it brings to the nation?”

“Sewers are overflowing in the lanes, there’s filth upon filth along the roadsides, and piles of garbage are stacked right in front of hospitals and schools… If these people have reduced Delhi to this state in just one year, what will they do in five years?” he further added.

TURNED LIVES OF DELHIITES INTO HELL, AAP LAUNCHES ATTACK ON BJP

The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday criticised the BJP for being ‘incompetent’ in running the administration.

“The BJP has turned the lives of Delhiites into hell. This pile of garbage near Ambedkar Nagar Hospital is narrating the story of the BJP’s negligence and incompetence,” the party wrote on X.

It also took a sarcastic jibe at Delhi’s ‘four-engine’ government for the alleged administrative mismanagement across the city.

“As soon as the four-engine BJP government took power, garbage piles started appearing all over Delhi,” AAP wrote on X.

The four-engine government is a political term created by the Aam Aadmi Party to criticise the BJP. It indicates the BJP’s control over the Central government, the union territory government, the Delhi municipality, and even the office of the Lieutenant Governor (LG).
