A pair of Scottish nationals will remain behind bars while facing drug supply charges following the discovery of an alleged ketamine haul.
The 23-year-old woman and 30-year-old man were arrested at a hotel room on Sydney’s North Shore on June 29 following an investigation into alleged drug supply.
Police swarmed to the hotel after a member of the public reported alleged suspicious behaviour.

A search of a nearby car allegedly uncovered about 105 kilograms of a prohibited drug, believed to be Ketamine, packed into shopping bags and luggage in the boot.
Police also seized a number of mobile phones, more than $2000 in cash and alleged ledgers for the sale of drugs inside the hotel room.
Just three days prior, officers raided a short-stay rental property in Artarmon, North Sydney, and allegedly uncovered about two kilograms of what’s believed to be ketamine, scales, disposable gloves, clear resealable bags with white crystallised residue and items of luggage.
The duo were arrested at the hotel and were later charged with two counts of drug supply, one of which being a “large commercial quantity”.

They were refused bail before Manly Local Court on June 30 and are set to appear before the Downing Centre on August 26.
It will be alleged the pair travelled to Australia “for the sole purpose of taking part in the distribution and supply of large commercial quantities of prohibited drugs”, police said.
Detective Acting Inspector Alison Dixon said drug syndicates are utilising short-stay rentals such as AirBnBs to run their operations out of.
“We have seen this before in short stays and encourage property owners to be wary,” Dixon told News.com.au.
“People staying in hotels and Airbnbs, we see a lot of illegal activities come and go through those places.”
