Boston police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl from Dorchester.
Sy’Rai Avery was last seen around 6 p.m. Thursday while leaving her home on Browning Avenue in Dorchester, police said in an alert. She was wearing a blue baseball jersey and black biker shorts.
Police described Avery as Black, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with long brown and blonde braids and a tattoo of roses on her left forearm.
Avery has ties to the Cambridge area, police added.
