Neighbours at the luxury Noosa accommodation Sam Wood had been residing with his wife Snezana and kids at the weekend have detailed the moment the celebrity fitness personality was arrested on domestic violence charges.
On Saturday night, police attended the $3000-a-night Sunshine Coast villas where it is alleged two acts of domestic violence occurred.
Wood, 46, was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and strangulation in a domestic setting.

“Officers attended a Hastings Street, Noosa address around 9pm Saturday after receiving reports of alleged domestic violence,” a police spokesman said.
“Police have charged a 46-year-old Victorian man with domestic violence offences early this morning, 4 October.”
The Bachelor star remained behind bars on Monday following his first court mention in Maroochydore Magistrates Court, where he did not appear himself.
Wood’s lawyer requested the matter be adjourned to Thursday, with a bail application to be scheduled on that day.
Guests in neighbouring accommodation, who preferred to remain anonymous, said they were first alerted to an issue when paramedics arrived at the ritzy premises on Saturday night, according to Daily Mail.

One guest said she saw a woman let paramedics into the apartment.
Another said he saw Wood being questioned by police, and that he was later arrested.
The family are said to have left the apartment later that evening after Wood was taken into custody.
Wood and Snezana married in 2018 after meeting on The Bachelor Australia in 2015, where she had entered as a single mother from Perth.
The couple share children Willow, Charlie, and Harper — all under 10 — and co-parent Eve, 21, Snezana’s daughter from a previous relationship.

On Monday, the pair released a statement on social media regarding the situation.
“This is a difficult time for all of us, we are working through this as a family and are thoroughly co-operating with the authorities,” they said.
Wood has been stood down by his fitness and nutrition company 28 by Sam Wood, with the acting CEO releasing a statement regarding the accusations against its founder, declaring he had been relieved of his duties indefinitely.
“We have all been shocked and saddened by the matters involving Sam Wood,” the statement began.
“We have zero tolerance for domestic violence. While the matter is under investigation and before the court, Sam is on indefinite leave from his duties.
“Our thoughts are with the family and anyone in the community affected by domestic violence.”
