UAE riders took both endurance titles at Royal Windsor on Friday, with wins in the 120km and 100km races at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The event was held on the Windsor Castle grounds in the United Kingdom, one of the most recognisable settings in British equestrian sport.
Saeed Ahmed Al-Marri led a UAE clean sweep in the 120km two-star endurance race. Riding Voluble de Vast, he finished in 4 hours, 57 minutes and 51 seconds, at an average speed of 24.2kph.
Khalfan Baljafila finished second in 5:01:00, while Majid Jamal Al-Muhairi completed the podium in third in 6:29:38.
The UAE also took the top two places in the 100km one-star international race.
Saeed Al-Khayari won the title in 3:43:21, averaging 26.9kph. Hamad Al-Kaabi was close behind, finishing second in 3:43:24.
The results added to another strong international showing for UAE endurance riders, who have long been among the most competitive in the discipline.
