Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator features survivor accounts and examines how celebrity culture shielded Harris from scrutiny.
The ABC has announced a new two-part documentary, Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator, which will air in June on ABC TV and stream on ABC iview.
The series examines the life and crimes of disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris, tracing his journey from suburban Perth to major fame in the United Kingdom, while exploring allegations of abuse that continued for decades behind the scenes.

According to the broadcaster, the documentary includes accounts from survivors who have not previously spoken publicly about their experiences.
Harris died in 2023 at the age of 93 and never publicly expressed remorse.
The documentary also looks at how his celebrity status and influence allowed his behaviour to go unchecked for many years, while focusing on the experiences of survivors who have since chosen to speak publicly.
The production is a collaboration between Northern Pictures and Arrow Media for the ABC, with principal production funding provided by Screen Australia, the ABC and Prime Video UK.
Post-production, digital and visual effects were supported by Screen NSW.
International distribution rights for the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Republic of Ireland and Malta are held by Prime Video UK, while international sales are being handled by NH Media Finance.
