Talking about Irshad Bhatti’s demeaning questions to Meera, Reema said, “Our podcasters or hosts disrespect the artists they interview. They treat actors as if they are sitting in current affairs shows. It was so sad to see someone asking such questions to Meera. Our artists, whether male or female, deserve respect. In Pakistan, hosts don’t talk about the craft of the artist; rather, they drag their personal lives into the discussion. It is not just disrespecting the guest, but it is also tarnishing your own image.”
Talking about Resham, Reema said, “Resham speaks eloquently. May Allah bring happiness to her life. I would like to advise Resham to stop believing what she hears and analyze situations herself. Don’t pay heed to stories shared by others.” Watch here:
