Qadar Isse Is Building Nura AI Around Faith and Technology

At 13, Qadar Isse had already discovered the feeling that would quietly shape his future. It came from sitting in front of his first computer, fascinated by what technology could create. His earliest projects were video edits, simple experiments that gave him a glimpse of the possibilities inside a machine.

Years later, that curiosity would collide with something much deeper: faith.

When the job market collapsed after college, Isse found himself uncertain about what came next. Instead of waiting for clarity to arrive, he began learning again, taking online courses and building personal projects. Somewhere between technical curiosity and a lifelong connection to his deen, a new idea began to take shape.

That idea became Nura AI.

When Uncertainty Became a New Beginning

The period after college was not straightforward. With the job market struggling, Isse found himself lost and unsure of where his technical abilities could take him.

But uncertainty created space for experimentation.

He returned to learning through online courses and began working on projects independently. More importantly, he began asking a personal question: could his technical aptitude serve something he deeply believed in?

He had maintained a strong connection to his deen while living in the West. Rather than viewing technology and faith as separate worlds, he started looking for a way to bring them together.

That search eventually led to Nura AI, a platform designed to encourage people not only to read the Quran, but to explore its meanings and engage more deeply with tafsir and reflection.

Three Years of Patience Before Lul Care Took Off

Nura AI is not Isse’s first experience with entrepreneurship.

While still in college, he helped build Lul Care, an Adult Family Home Business. The journey tested a different kind of resilience.

For three years, the business continued before accepting its first client.

Three years is a long time to keep believing in an idea when the visible results have not yet arrived. Then, as Isse describes it, when the business finally began receiving clients, “it started to rain.”

The experience taught him something that now influences his entrepreneurial mindset: progress does not always arrive on the schedule you expect.

Today, his time is divided between managing the home care business and continuing to develop Nura AI, creating a demanding balance between operating an established venture and building something still in its early stages.

Building Nura AI With a Bigger Purpose

For Isse, Nura AI is not simply another technology startup.

Its purpose is deeply personal.

He wants Muslims, and even non-Muslims, to approach the Quran differently. Instead of simply reading its words, he hopes people will become more willing to pause, explore tafsir, ponder its messages and develop a deeper relationship with the text.

That mission has also shaped the way he thinks about growth.

Rather than relying solely on conventional startup marketing, Isse is currently focused on organic social media marketing to introduce Nura AI to more people. The objective is not only user growth, but reaching members of the ummah who could genuinely benefit from the platform.

Behind the business strategy sits an even more personal hope: that Nura AI can become a form of sadaqah jariyah, continuing to benefit people long after he is gone.

The Discipline Behind the Entrepreneur

Isse’s philosophy toward success is direct. He believes the distance between where someone is and where they want to be is often shaped by their own discipline, motivation and consistency.

That belief has become especially relevant in his own journey.

There were no guarantees after college. There was no established blueprint for combining technology with his religious purpose. And there was certainly no promise that a business could survive three years before its first client.

Yet he continued.

His advice to people who doubt their own potential is equally straightforward: do not allow other people’s judgment to become your limit. Take action even when it feels frightening, believe in yourself and maintain tawakkul.

For Isse, entrepreneurship is therefore not only about strategy or innovation. It is also about internal discipline and trust.

A Vision That Extends Beyond One Startup

The future Isse imagines for Nura AI is larger than building a successful technology platform.

He wants to change the way people approach the Quran.

If the platform can encourage someone to slow down, investigate its tafsir, reflect more deeply and develop a stronger relationship with the Quran, then its impact becomes difficult to measure through conventional startup metrics alone.

That is ultimately what makes Qadar Isse’s journey distinctive. A childhood fascination with computers eventually became a technical skill. A difficult period after college became an opportunity to experiment. A three-year wait in business became a lesson in patience.

And now, technology has become the bridge between his professional abilities and a mission rooted in faith.

His message to his younger self is surprisingly grounded: take better care of your mental and physical health. Because behind every ambitious vision is a human being who needs the strength to carry it.

For Qadar Isse, the goal is no longer simply to build something impressive.

It is to build something that remains useful.

And if Nura AI succeeds in helping even more people sit with the Quran, understand it and ponder its meaning, the technology may ultimately become much more than a startup. It may become part of a legacy designed to keep giving long after its founder has stepped away.
