FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots are already facing plenty of adversity just two weeks into a new football season.

Not only are Drake Maye and his teammates coming off a crushing loss to the Seahawks in Week 1, but New England will need to trudge forward without star wideout A.J. Brown for at least a month — if not longer — due to a high ankle sprain.

New England is banking on the benefits of home turf on Sunday, as they will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in their home opener at Gillette Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. You can watch the game on CBS, and follow along on the radio at 98.5 The Sports Hub.

Maye is looking for some redemption after imploding against a stacked Seattle defense by way of three fourth-quarter interceptions, while a New England defense playing without corner Carlton Davis will try to get the better of 42-year-old Aaron Rodgers.

Chad Finn has a preview of Wednesday’s showdown between the Patriots and Steelers.

Back in Foxborough

Greetings from Gillette Stadium. Drake Maye and the Patriots are aiming for a get-right game against the Steelers, although the upcoming rainy conditions aren’t going to help an offense that posted just 10 points against Seattle.
