A video showing four police personnel riding on a single motorcycle has gone viral on social media, prompting the Patna Traffic Police to order an inquiry into the incident.
The viral clip shows three women police personnel and one male police officer seated on the same motorcycle. The registration number of the bike is also visible in the video.
After the video surfaced online, the Patna Traffic Police took note of the matter and began efforts to identify the personnel involved through the motorcycle’s registration details.
Officials said that appropriate action would be taken after the identities of the police personnel are confirmed. The department is also verifying when and where the video was recorded and which units the personnel belong to.
It is currently unclear whether the motorcycle was being used during official duty or under what circumstances the four personnel were travelling together. The details are expected to emerge after the inquiry.
