The upcoming Pan Dorobo (Bread Thief) anime has gotten a new teaser trailer and a “special version” teaser visual with two variants.
It was also announced that Ayaka Asai is voicing the titular Pan Dorobo, while Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is the ending theme song artist.

The anime, which is based on the popular KADOKAWA-published picture book series by Keiko Shibata, is set to begin its broadcast this October. Takahiko Kyogoku (Love Live!, Love Live! Superstar!!, GATE Season 1) is directing the anime at Shin-Ei Animation.
In its earnings results report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, KADOKAWA listed the series as its best net sales performer in the Publication/IP Creation segment for books and magazines, above titles like Sword Art Online and Delicious in Dungeon. Pan Dorobo was sixth top performer overall.
