Palm City FC have appointed Grégory Dufrennes as their new head coach on a contract until 2028.
The French coach joins after a strong year for the Dubai club, who won the UAE Second Division and FA Cup in 2026.
Dufrennes brings a long record in UAE football. He has previously coached Al Wahda, Dibba Al Fujairah and Al Jazira, as well as Saudi side Al Batin.
He also knows the local game from his playing career. After arriving in the UAE in 2006, he played for Dubai Club, Al Ahli and Kalba.
Palm City said the appointment forms part of their longer plan as they look to build on their recent success.
For Dufrennes, it marks another UAE chapter after years spent working across the country’s football scene.
