The My Hero Academia in Concert event is produced by GEA Live, in partnership with Toho and RoadCo Entertainment. It will feature numerous scenes from all eight seasons of My Hero Academia, which will be projected on a large-scale screen and synchronized with composer Yuki Hayashi’s musical score. The first performance will begin in Japan at the Pacifico Yokohama on May 30, 2026.
The event was announced at Jump Festa 2026 last December, as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations for the My Hero Academia anime series. A teaser visual and 10th anniversary logo for the series were previously released, along with plans for an anime adaptation of the manga’s 431st chapter titled “More,” which will premiere on Crunchyroll worldwide on May 2, 2026.

VIZ Media licensed the My Hero Academia manga series for English release, and describes the main premise as:
Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all, gives him a chance to change his destiny.
