More than 600 Australians bought this robot vacuum this month and now it’s over ,100 off

The fantasy of waking up to perfectly vacuumed floors without lifting a finger has officially entered its affordable era.

Robot vacuums have slowly gone from futuristic luxury to household essential, but every now and then a deal lands that makes even the most committed sceptics pause mid-scroll.

Right now, the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 Robot Vacuum and Mop has been slashed by a staggering 65 per cent on Amazon Australia, dropping the price by an eye-watering $1,100.01.

For anyone who has spent years muttering about crumbs under the dining table, pet hair collecting in corners or mysterious dust appearing five minutes after cleaning, this is the kind of sale that feels dangerously convincing.

The robot vacuum has already earned Amazon’s Choice status and shoppers are clearly paying attention, with more than 600 units snapped up in the past month alone.

Given the level of automation packed into this machine, it is not hard to see why.

At the centre of the hype is the fact this is not just a basic robot vacuum bumping around the lounge room.

The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen2 is designed to vacuum and mop simultaneously while largely taking care of itself in the process. Yes, really.

Its powerful Vormax suction system delivers 10,000Pa of suction power, making light work of dust, crumbs, pet hair and debris across hard floors and carpets.

The floating rubber brush is also designed to reduce hair tangles, which means less time spent untangling strands from rollers and more time pretending your house magically cleans itself.

Then there is the MopExtend RoboSwing Technology, which sounds like something from a sci-fi film but is actually built to reach into awkward corners and along skirting boards where dust loves to hide.

The mop can extend into tight spaces up to 4cm deep, with edge recognition helping it clean more thoroughly around furniture, chairs and table legs.

For busy households, the fully automated station is arguably the biggest selling point. The device automatically empties dust, washes and dries its mop pads, refills water and even monitors accessory usage and consumable timing.

In other words, this is about as close as most people are getting to outsourcing housework without hiring actual staff.

Pet owners are especially likely to appreciate the dedicated pet-zone cleaning and ultrasonic carpet recognition, which lifts the mop around rugs and carpets to avoid soggy surprises.

The reviews are equally enthusiastic.

One shopper wrote: “It nicely vacuums and washes the floor, you can pick up the suction level and how much water you want to give while washing”.

Another said: “Picked this up when it was on sale and glad we made the purchase. Super easy to set up and the Dreame app is easy to use”.

While a third summed it up more dramatically: “What can I say but, flawless absolutely flawless. I never ever expected it to be so good”.

The vacuum also comes with a two-year local warranty for Australian and New Zealand customers, including access to a local repair centre, call service, email support and Amazon message support, which adds an extra layer of reassurance for shoppers investing in a premium appliance.

At $598.99 for a limited time, this is the kind of deal that tends to disappear quickly once word gets around.

And considering robot vacuums capable of self-emptying and self-cleaning often sit well above the $1,500 mark, the discount feels less like a sale and more like a pricing error someone forgot to fix.
