A Massachusetts woman is facing reckless driving charges after allegedly driving at speeds up to 120 mph on I-395 in Connecticut.
The driver, a 20-year-old woman from Framingham, was driving a Tesla north on I-395 in Montvale, Connecticut, when Sgt. Jason Robinson observed her “traveling at a high rate of speed,” according to a report from Connecticut State Police.
Sgt. Robinson reported clocking the vehicle traveling at over 100 mph for more than two miles, with a top speed of 120 mph in “moderate traffic.”
The driver was placed into custody during a traffic stop and charged with reckless driving and passing on the right, police said. She was released on $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on July 7.
