Luke Littler has been honoured with a mural in his home town of Warrington to celebrate his achievements so far in his career.
The 19-year-old caught a glimpse of the huge artwork painted on the side of the Golden Square shopping centre, revealing his grandmother had seen the piece first.
Littler said: “It’s amazing. My nan was on the bus going past yesterday, and she got off to speak to the guys.
“Then she phoned my dad and mentioned it, so she saw it before all of us.
“We all can’t believe it. I think the old Luke Littler wouldn’t have ever thought about this happening, but it’s happened, and I’m very happy about it.”
Littler produced a stunning performance last week in the World Matchplay to defend his title as he goes in pursuit of a clean sweep of major titles.
The Nuke produced a performance to remember against Gerwyn Price, averaging 111.53 in the final, pushing up his tournament average to 111.04, breaking Phil Taylor’s record of 106.31.
Littler also broke his record for most 180s hit in the tournament, making 66 this year to beat the 64 he set in 2025.

The Nuke said: “With performances like that, not many people can stop me.
“I’m feeling very good. The clean sweep is very much on.”
The 19-year-old is taking a short break from darts as he heads to Orlando in the US.
He said: “Last week was up there with one of my best performances throughout a tournament.

“I was very happy with it, but now I need to relax, go to America, chill out, not think about darts and come back for the World Series.
“I won’t be throwing darts in America, I’ll be chilling out.”
The Nuke sent a warning to the rest of the darting world about how good he can get despite his incredible averages at the World Matchplay.
Littler explained: “I can get a lot better. Through the matches, I was up to a 120 average at one point, and I didn’t make it stick. Maybe in a few years’ time I will stick it and go up to a 120 average.

“At the minute I’m playing some of the best stuff, and I’ve just got to keep it there.
“The main goal was to win every major once. I don’t know how many years are left in me.
“We’re still only two-and-a-half years into my professional career. It’s far from done.”
