Controversial broadcaster Kyle Sandilands has opened up on his uncertain health prognosis and prospect of having more children after being diagnosed with two separate aneurysms in 2025.
Speaking to Daily Mail’s podcast The Debrief, Sandilands said his three-year-old son Otto, shared with wife Tegan Kynaston, 40, is more than adequate at this stage of life.
“We’ve talked about more kids, but we’ve decided no,” Sandilands revealed.

“It’s mainly because of my old age. We did want to have two at the beginning, but I was like, “Oh, now I know why everyone has their kids in their 20s because I’m 55 and I’m exhausted and I love every minute of it”.’
The shock shock said he could imagine he may “never get any peace” if he were to raise two kids and one was unwell.

Sandilands and his wife married in April 2023 in a $1 million ceremony, set within a sprawling Sydney mansion.
The lavish affair took place less than 12 months after Otto was born.
Despite being an outspoken public figure — recently settling for $12.09m with former employee ARN following his spat with Jackie “O” Henderson — the entrepreneur enjoys a low-key lifestyle at home.
“We’re eating dinner at 4.30pm!” he revealed, admitting he is often in bed by 7:30pm.
With his well-publicised partying days behind him, Sandilands understands he can’t undo the irreparable damage inflicted by his former self.
“My doctor said if I didn’t get it checked, I would have died. A life of cocaine abuse and partying are not the way to go!” he told listeners in early 2025.
Set to launch his new subscription show Kyle Sandilands Live on August 10, the host is still dealing with the chest and brain aneurysms doctors found last year.
“I’ve got to go to the cardiovascular surgeon because I’ve got another aneurysm in my chest as well. So they’ve got to monitor that one,” Sandilands said.
“And then in a couple of months’ time, they go and they have to go through that whole scan process again to see if it’s grown.”

The owner of King Kyle Group said operating behind his right eye would leave a nasty scar resembling “Frankenstein” — an operation he is not willing to live through just yet.
“They can’t really operate on the one on the head because it’s attached to multiple blood vessels,” he added.
‘So the normal thing they can do with keyhole, they can’t do it. It’s behind my right eye. So they said they would have to cut all the way down this side like a massive scar.”
Sandilands added: “Let’s just see if it grows first.”
