Jennifer Garner is reminiscing about her time filming the TV show “The Five-Star Weekend” on Nantucket, sharing a throwback video of an impromptu karaoke performance at a local live music venue.

The actress posted the video to social media Monday, showing herself singing ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” alongside her “The Five-Star Weekend” co-stars Chloë Sevigny, Regina Hall, Gemma Chan, and D’Arcy Carden during a visit to Gaslight, a downtown Nantucket restaurant, bar, and music venue.

The karaoke outing took place Sept. 30, 2025, according to video captured at the time by the Nantucket Current

Local Nantucket Ghost Walk guide Bill Jamieson joined the actresses onstage for the performance, as seen in the video.

“I don’t know if our karaoke skills were five star (😉🙄), but everything else with these ladies was a dream,” Garner wrote in the post’s caption. “And we can’t forget our Dancing Queen — BILL! We love you, Bill! To check out Bill’s spooky Ghosts of Nantucket tour, look him up — he’s a legend!”

In May, Jamieson was described by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce as an “island icon” for leading ghost tours and sharing the stage with Garner during karaoke.

The Five-Star Weekend,” based on a novel by Elin Hilderbrand, filmed scenes in Nantucket in September 2025, according to People

In an interview published by People July 9, Garner said she enjoyed the island’s variety of activities and highlighted Nantucket’s beaches, shops, museums, and historic churches.

Garner also reflected on her time on the island during an appearance on NBC’s TODAY on Monday, saying that she “became a local” while filming. Garner added that she visited the Nantucket Whaling Museum three times.

She said the karaoke performance happened after the cast made a spontaneous decision to go out one evening and ended up at Gaslight, where they found themselves dancing with Jamieson.

“We kind of blew up his evening,” Gardner said, “and he was generous enough to allow us to be his back-up dancers.”
