Western Sydney Wanderers have handed defender Jarrod Carluccio a new two-year contract, tying him to the club until the end of the 2027-28 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Carluccio now heads into his sixth senior season with the Wanderers, having also spent time at fellow A-Leagues side Perth Glory.
The 25-year-old came through the Wanderers Academy before earning his first team opportunity, a debut that came against Premier League side Leeds United in what was the first game to be played at CommBank Stadium.

“I’m incredibly proud to extend my time with the Wanderers,” said Carluccio after inking his new deal.
“This Club has been a huge part of my life for a long time and to represent Western Sydney is something I never take for granted.

“Every season I’ve continued to learn and develop, and I feel like I’m in a great position to keep contributing to the team.

“No matter the adversity that we face at this football club, it is always personal putting this jersey on. I will always represent my teammates, our members and our fans with respect and fight for this club and future success.”
After eight years in Western Sydney, Carluccio joined Perth Glory, initially on loan before the move was made permanent at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.
During his time in Perth, he made 35 appearances and scored two goals, further establishing himself at A-League level before returning to the Wanderers January 2025.
Western Sydney Wanderers Football Director Mal Impiombato said Carluccio’s journey embodied the values of the club.
“Jarrod represents the type of player we want at this football club. He’s a product of our Academy, he understands what it means to represent Western Sydney and he’s built a strong connection with our members and fans.
“His journey has been one of resilience and growth. The experiences he’s had throughout his career have helped shaped him into an important member of our squad.
“Having homegrown players who are proud to wear the Red & Black is a big part of our identity, and we’re delighted that Jarrod will continue that journey with the Wanderers.”
