Jack Wilshere leaves Luton players and staff stunned in training

It turns out Jack Wilshere hasn’t lost his magic touch.

The former Arsenal midfielder, who took charge of Luton Town back in December, has been busy preparing his League One side for the new campaign during a pre-season training camp in Spain.

The 34-year-old already made quite the impression in the dugout, guiding the Hatters to EFL Trophy glory last season.

But it’s brilliant footage of Wilshere pulling off an absolutely outrageous crossbar challenge during training that has got fans buzzing.

The clip, which the club shared on Instagram, shows the boss reminding everyone that his famous left foot still works just fine — even from more than 30 yards out.

As the squad headed to the sidelines to grab a drink, Wilshere strolled onto the pitch and casually dropped a ball from his hands roughly 30 yards from goal.

Without any fuss, he stepped onto it and launched a gorgeous lob with that trademark left foot — the one Arsenal fans loved watching for years.

Players and coaching staff looked on as the ball sailed through the air before clattering perfectly off the crossbar.

The reaction was brilliant — everyone watching burst into laughter and applause, clearly impressed by their gaffer’s technique.

Wilshere, for his part, simply flashed a knowing grin at his squad. It’s clear the man can still do things most players only dream of.

Luton shared the clip on their Instagram with the caption: “Still got it.”

And fans absolutely loved it. One supporter simply wrote: “Pure talent,” while another joked: “Player manager” — suggesting Wilshere might fancy lacing up the boots again. A third fan couldn’t resist adding: “He can play still haha.”

It’s a lovely moment ahead of what promises to be a busy pre-season schedule for the Hatters.

Wilshere’s side are set to face Saudi club Al Kholood on Saturday in their first friendly of the summer.

After that, they’ll return home to Kenilworth Road for a match against Dutch outfit Go Ahead Eagles.
